facing blueprints day after day,
creating furnaces and then tearing them down,
repeated daily on a seemingly endless basis, we went back to basics.

In other words – the fundamentals on optimal design for industrial furnaces.
These fundamentals,
liberating us from the curse of conventional wisdom,
came into being thanks to a change in mindset.
